MARK HANLON
is an American film director and screenwriter. His feature Buddy Boy premiered at the Venice and Toronto film festivals. Starring Aidan Gillen and Emmanuelle Seigner, it was released theatrically by New Line Cinema. His screenplay Chimera became the Joel Silver and Robert Zemeckis-produced Ghost Ship. Released by Warner Bros. Pictures, it stars Gabriel Byrne and Julianna Margulies. Hanlon has adapted the Harry Crews cult favorite The Knockout Artist for producers Joni Sighvatsson and Sean Penn. He is currently preparing to direct the psychological thriller All That Remains for Studio 8 London and producers Jamie and Alex Brown.
